Can I Polish Auto with an Eccentric Sander

Varieties

There is an extensive assortment of nozzles that are suitable for various surfaces; sponge-shaped, abrasive, of varying degrees of graininess and felt with a soft surface are most widely used. Conventionally, they are classified according to the embodiment into petal and surface grinding types. The latter are made in the form of a rubber circle (it is also possible to partially use this material) with an additional coating for processing.

Can I Polish Auto with an Eccentric Sander

They are made, as a rule, from dense foam rubber or felt of various diameters. The petal nozzle for polishing is characterized by greater productivity and, as a consequence, high cost. You can also find kits for surface treatment of the body, which consist of several elements having different purposes and complexity.

The form

Nozzles for polishing a car are usually made in the form of a cone or circle. They often come as a complement to polishes, along with polishing tapes and sheets. There are many options that are used both for bodywork, and for jewelry or optics.

Thanks to such elements, the aesthetic and technical characteristics of the car are preserved, since any vehicle will look much better after a thorough washing and polishing.

Rigidity

A conventional drill often acts as a grinder. But it is able to ensure high-quality work only if it is supplemented with suitable components. A variety of materials are used for polishing wheels. The most common nozzle on a drill for polishing a car from felt or foam. The choice of one or another option is determined by the degree of softness of the polishing paste. Manufacturers produce circles in various colors, in accordance with their rigidity:

  • the softest is a nozzle for polishing black;
  • orange elements are suitable for all types of pastes;
  • Rigid compounds are applied with white circles.

DIY polishing tips

Also, a convenient nozzle on a drill for polishing a car is obtained from a felt disc used in polishing machines and machines. First you need to make a pin with a suitable diametrical size and apply thread to one of its sides. A polishing disc is mounted on it, surrounded on both sides by a wide nut and a restrictive washer. The formation of such a device does not cause special difficulties, while it is suitable for processing many types of surfaces.

Features of use

The body elements of the new machines are manufactured using the latest technology. Anticorrosion compounds and paints, which are resistant to wear, are applied to the metal surface. Their warranty period is about 15 years. But the paintwork retains its characteristics better with proper care. The nozzle for polishing a car allows you to restore the original shine, remove the imperfections that exist on the surface, while they, together with specialized compounds, will cost much cheaper than contacting a workshop.

When polishing is needed

Such processing, despite many positive aspects, can correct only a limited list of defects. Overhaul of body elements is indispensable if they have foci of corrosion, chips or damage through which a steel frame can be seen. Before starting work, it is worthwhile to carefully inspect the machine and make sure that it is possible to eliminate the defects. A nozzle for polishing a car on a drill will be effective in the following cases:

  • a slight difference in shades obtained after partial staining;
  • the presence of granularity and sagging enamel;
  • the surface has roughness, scratches and cloudy stains;
  • the paint layer has become less bright and shiny.

It is worth noting that it is undesirable to abuse polishing. Since during its implementation the paint layer becomes thinner by about 5 microns. From the moment a vehicle is released from the factory, no more than 20 polishing cycles can be performed. In this case, it is desirable to use a thickness gauge, especially when working with a used vehicle.

What allows to reach a polishing nozzle

Polishing makes it possible to give an updated appearance to the body. Carrying out such processing is especially important when leveling small chips and in case of surface tarnishing. Work is carried out in two stages. First, the surface layer of paint is removed, after which polishing compounds are applied.

There is also a protective treatment that is used to reduce the negative effects of various precipitation and ultraviolet radiation. Most often, it is included in the pre-sale preparation of the machine. The protective coating is distributed over the entire surface and may have a different composition with the addition of components such as silicone or wax. They form a water-repellent invisible film and provide a bright shine. The soft nozzle on the polishing drill is suitable for used cars, on the surface of which there is no damage to the paint layer. It is also used in gentle treatment with protective equipment.

Polishing agents

Before proceeding with the restoration of the surface, it is worth taking care of the availability of the necessary materials, such as:

Careful handling should be carefully selected. Pastes with abrasive particles are necessary to remove the upper lacquer layer. They are selected in accordance with the type of cracks and chips on the surface. Preparations with a large number of particles are indispensable in eliminating noticeable defects. Compounds that give brightness to color are quite common.

Turbid stains often appear on the protective coating of new cars, in this case, you can do with a paste for restoration, which contains no grinding additives.

A variety of polishes allows you to choose the right tool for any task. For vertical surfaces thick pastes are convenient. They can handle any part of the car. Such funds are often characterized by the presence of components that increase the brightness of the shade.

Liquid polishes are only suitable for the horizontal plane, for example, for the hood or roof. The main advantage is the lack of the possibility of damage to the enamel.

Aerosols are characterized by sufficient ease of use. Such compositions are economical and efficient in operation. But it is worth noting that the cans, despite their size, do not contain much material.

1 How to choose a nozzle. four important conditions

To produce high-quality polishing of the machine, when buying everything necessary for work, we take into account the important selection conditions:

  1. It is impossible to polish a car body with cheap products of unknown manufacturers. Often, in addition to the time and money spent, one has to turn to professionals to eliminate the mistakes made, of which poor-quality products are to blame.
  2. It is not possible to purchase a universal product for polishing metal parts, plastic bumpers and headlights. Each of the automotive parts requires its own specific tool and material.
  3. For the adapted tool, adapters are acquired. Buy a drill or grinder nozzles designed for professional polishing tools, not worth it.
  4. The recommended tool speed is indicated on the packaging of the polishing tool. These recommendations should not be neglected, the consequences can be dire for the car’s paintwork.

Restoring a car body is quite simple. Before using the tool and supplies, we carefully familiarize ourselves with the manufacturer’s recommendations. Ignoring them is dearer to yourself. Poor execution threatens with unpredictable consequences.

2 Classification of nozzles. each type is specific

Nozzles for polishing a car differ in the degree of rigidity and material. Hard are used in polishing metal parts. From medium to small (soft) are used to give the surface a beautiful gloss. Relief is necessary in special cases associated with the processing of large surfaces. Specialists practice using different types: first hard, then nozzles with a gradual transition from medium to soft.

Nozzles and polishing wheels are made of different materials. Felt have the form of a soft cylinder or circle. They surface is pre-treated before polishing, as well as during the final guidance of gloss.

Sheepskin nozzles are used at the final polishing stage, providing an excellent result. In appearance they resemble a cap.

For the manufacture of circles-nozzles, fabric cords or leather are used. They are suitable for cleaning surfaces before polishing. Leather nozzles are softer, they process products requiring delicate handling, coated with varnish or acrylic. Covered in fabric cord are more rigid, they are convenient to work with metal. Both types are suitable for surfaces of various configurations: flat and embossed.

Foam rubber differ in the size of the cells on the circle, the polishing effect depends on it. The smaller the cells, the more gentle the surface is treated.

The nozzles have a different shape: flat and petal.

To handle a car with a drill or an angle grinder, you can not do without an adapter. a device for attaching a nozzle or a polishing wheel.

3 Adapters. turning the drill and angle grinder into a grinding tool

A drill and angle grinder are usually not used for polishing, but a simple adapter turns them into a grinding tool. As it uses a support plate or drum. The plate is executed as a plastic or rubber disk with a flypaper on which round sandpaper is fixed.

Between the base and Velcro there is a layer that contributes to a better contact of the circle with the surface being treated. Plates are attached to the drill with a shank, and to an angle grinder. through a threaded hole by screwing onto the output shaft. If a shank is screwed into the nozzle for angle grinders, it can be used with a drill.

Recommended reading:

But it is not recommended to use a plate for an angle grinder in such a way with a drill on a car body. It is too rigid, the tool must be kept strictly upright, which is very difficult. The slightest deviation from a vertical position leads to gnawing into the metal, the appearance of recesses. Therefore, for a drill, only nozzles are used that can compensate for the slopes:

  • rubber;
  • plastic with a thick soft layer;
  • with movable pin mount.

On sale there are devices for a drill with a shank, which can be mounted in two positions. It is rigidly blocked or given a certain freedom. With a free arrangement, adaptation to the position of the drill occurs, the treatment comes out clean, without the risk of unwanted recesses. But such a device is quite expensive.

  • nozzles for attaching circles;
  • adapter for adapting a disk or nozzle with a circle;
  • polishing wheel.

A drill is better suited for work: almost every model has a speed control, and only some of the grinders have it. The number of revolutions is in the range of 1000–3000. Higher heat the paintwork, damage it.

4 Grinding drums. reliable adapters for drills

In order not to risk damaging the surface when grinding a plate with a drill and not splurge on an expensive adapter with a varying slope of the shank, use polishing drums. This is a cylindrical design with a shank. An emery paper tape is attached to the cylinder, the ends of which are glued or loose. The grinding material is not located vertically, but parallel to the rotation.

For a tight connection of sandpaper with a drum, various types of tensioners are used. For a tape with glued ends, a method for increasing the diameter of the cylinder is used, and for a tape with free ends, a special mechanism is used. For endless abrasive belts, two tension methods are used. Pneumatic drums pump up, and consisting of individual rubber elements are compressed along the axis. Unclosed tapes are attached in different ways. The most common way is to pull the ends with a rotary screw.

For work with an emery tape with glued ends, it is possible to make a drum yourself. It consists of several wooden discs between which thick rubber gaskets are placed. Everything is screwed. The sanding paper is pulled onto the drum and the nut is tightened on the screw. She squeezes the discs with rubber between them, which, moving apart, reliably fixes sandpaper.

5 Consumables and abrasives. what you need for high-quality polishing

We start preparing for polishing with a sink. She will need a sponge. Housekeeping is not always suitable: they are too rigid, and soft or foam padding is required. We use the usual detergent, if there are no special contaminants, any one suitable for dishes. But car shampoo is still preferable. Strong pollution with bitumen and tar can sometimes be removed only with special clay.

Care should be taken in choosing a degreaser. Even ordinary white spirit, widely used for this purpose, can dissolve some types of paintwork. Solvent No. 646 and the like are used only for degreasing pure metal. We process plastic with special tools or clean technical alcohol. A dishwashing liquid diluted in water in a ratio of 1: 500 acts as an excellent degreaser, while washing the machine. After washing, wipe the body with soft paper towels.

The same tools are used for polishing with a professional machine and an adapted power tool. This is, first of all, sandpaper and special paste. We do without sandpaper when the top layer is damaged, and defects did not penetrate deeper. GOI paste can remove serious damage, but only with the use of a polishing nozzle, since manual work is very time-consuming. We use abrasive paper almost always.

You can limit it only to it, using abrasives of different grain sizes, but a greater effect is achieved by using polishes and soft circles. We apply them at the final stage of polishing. We polish with a felt circle without using pastes, but their simultaneous use gives the best quality. We take into account that felt disks come in various hardnesses. Synthetic polishing felt is not suitable, we use only natural.

Nozzle classification

To polish the car with our own hands with a drill, we need nozzles for this tool.

If the paintwork of the car body requires the removal of scratches, then for this purpose there are abrasive nozzles with different abrasiveness. Apply such circles when grinding the surface, periodically wetting it.

There are felt nozzles on a drill. Circles made of this material are cylindrical or flat. It is used both for cleaning the surface before polishing and for final polishing of the surface.

Foam nozzles are used to eliminate scratches from the paintwork. There are circles of different stiffness. Each circle is used for a specific abrasive paste. The toughest wheel is used for coarse. abrasive polish, less hard. for finely. abrasive, and soft. for non. abrasive polish. The depth of the scratches is determined by visual inspection. A very deep scratch cannot be polished. First you have to putty, then tint.

Sheepskin nozzles are used mainly at the final stage, to give shine to the surface.

Processing technology

Before polishing, the workpiece must be washed and cleaned of all kinds of contaminants. If grinding is necessary, put an abrasive wheel and start grinding. Do not forget to wet the treated surface so as not to get additional scratches. After grinding, wipe the surface. We apply polish to the polishing wheel, rub it over the part and begin to polish it. To avoid overheating of the surface, do not press hard on the tool and polish one area for a long time. At the end, with a soft cloth that does not leave a lint, remove the remaining polish.

To attach the polishing wheels to a manual electric drill, an adapter and the so-called “Velcro” (substrate with mounts) will be required.

Apparently, for more than four years of operation, my Olympic Gold has never been polished and the paintwork of the body lost its original shine and acquired not a small number of small scratches. I was not going to give my Gold for professional polishing to the service, because they asked for a full polishing of the body from 10K rubles there.

I watched not a small number of videos on YouTube and re-read a huge number of records on the Drive and decided that to polish the body of my car to everyone’s power, including me.

Of the consumables I needed:

The most convenient tool for polishing is considered a professional polishing machine, which differs from a conventional angle grinder only in the presence of a speed regulator and a convenient handle, but its cost is several times more. True, there are several more tools that can also polish the car body.
Of the tools, I had only an eccentric grinder and an ordinary drill with a speed control, of course you can still polish the entire body with your hands, but this will take a lot of time and effort, and the result may not satisfy you.

Having worked a little with an eccentric sander, I decided that I would still use an old drill with a special nozzle.

I prepared everything I needed and went to thoroughly wash the car.

I think it’s worth mentioning that polishing in the hot sun is not recommended, because when polishing, the paintwork is exposed to high temperatures. Therefore, I recommend polishing the car in non-sunny weather or just in the shade.

First you need to wash the machine clean, wipe it from all kinds of contaminants, identify places that require grouting. Deep scratches, shells, orange peel, stains of paint, etc.

From insects and strong impurities that did not wash during washing, a special tool helped me a lot.

Next, it is desirable to treat the body with a degreasing compound. It can be diluted "White alcohol" or a special tool. Degreaser W900 APP 1 l. This composition removes the dirty film from the body, well cleans various small spots and prepares the body for applying polish. After processing the body. the polish will last longer and keep the body from the harmful effects of the environment.

There were fairly deep scratches on my body, so it was decided to first use a hard felt circle (in the second photo No. 1) with Farecla G6 abrasive polishing paste (in the first photo No. 3)

It is necessary to polish the body in small parts, because the paste dries quickly enough and while you are polishing the hood, the paste on the roof will already dry and coarsen.
I decided that I would start from the trunk and go in a circle (counterclockwise) gradually polishing each element.

The first step is to apply a professional polishing paste Farecla G6 (in the first photo No. 3) to a part of the body and try to grind evenly over the body area (preferably with your hands).
Then we take a drill, set it at 1200-1800 revolutions and put on a nozzle with a hard felt circle (in the second photo No. 1). We begin to gently rub the polish with horizontal, and then vertical movements of the drill.
I recommend polishing all sorts of sharp transitions, moldings, bumpers, corners manually, because you can go too far inability and gradually, in these weak spots you can get to the paint! Therefore, on large areas, I put a polish and polish with a drill, and the rest of the places manually, with a special cloth.

Then we look at the body from a different angle of the world so that there are no untreated places and traces of polish.

I didn’t polish the headlights with abrasive paste, but used Antitsarapinov (on the first photo No. 2) and soft polishing sheepskin disks (on the second photo No. 4).

Then we wipe the remaining polish on the body with rags and wash my car again, without shampoo, but wipe with MALAL-KO.

Preparation and abrasive polishing took too much time and it was already beginning to get dark, so I decided to postpone polishing with fine-grained composition the next day. I went to rest (I had to work even at night).

The plans for the next day were to put a finishing polish and finish with polishing. In principle, the matter remains small: once again degrease the body and apply the finely-formed composition in the same way. The polishing disc now needs to be used soft from the parralon (in the second photo No. 2) together with the finely shaped Runway polish (in the first photo No. 4).

The fine-grained Runway polish is very liquid in its composition and it is better to apply it on the parralon disc itself, but you can safely increase the speed of the drill to 2500, which will significantly speed up the process of finishing polishing.

I spent much less time on the application of the finishing polish than on the abrasive treatment. We wipe the remaining polish on the body with rags and again wash the car with shampoo so that there are no stains and polish residues on the dried body.

Since the site rules cannot contain more than 20 photos, the final result and photos of my polished Gold can be found in the next entry.

P.S. I apologize for such a long post, no matter how I tried to paint it shorter, it didn’t work out.

Thank you all for your attention.

What to look for when choosing a polishing wheel

Sometimes nozzles for polishing are already included with polishing fluids, however, if products are purchased separately, consider them:

  • Form. Disks are of two types: surface grinding (in the form of a circle) and blade (conical). In order for polishing to be performed as efficiently as possible, it is better to purchase products of several forms.
  • Rigidity. This parameter directly depends on the type of polishing paste. If the fluid is used to restore the body, then it is necessary to select more rigid polishing wheels. To find the right disk, just pay attention to its color: black are considered the softest, orange are medium hard and suitable for all pastes, white circles are the hardest, so they are most often used to remove the most serious scratches.
  • Diameter. It’s better to purchase a few discs of different diameters, then it will be more convenient for you to polish different parts of the car and hard to reach places. Large wheels are usually chosen for body polishing, and the smallest for headlights.
  • Type of mount. Disks can be mounted on a polishing machine or a conventional drill in two ways: screwed onto threads or secured with Velcro. The latter option is considered universal, since you do not have to pick up disks according to the diameter of the thread.

When choosing a nozzle for polishing a car, it is necessary to pay the greatest attention to the material of the grinding coating, since it will depend on it for what kind of work the circle is more suitable.

What material to choose a disk

Today, the market offers a wide range of tips for polishing cars that help remove both small cracks and deep chips. Let’s consider them in more detail.

Woolen discs

Disks made of wool are most popular due to their low cost and efficiency. Such products are suitable for rough processing of paintwork.

stringent processing can be obtained using a polishing wheel made of twisted wool. Such products are suitable for cracks of medium depth and minor defects.

Abrasive wheels

Circles made of abrasive materials are also considered to be tough, but unlike their woolen “colleagues”, they are more efficient and therefore more costly.

These properties of the product are due to the special chemical composition of the coating itself on the polishing surface. often the abrasive layer is made of electrocorundum, chromium and silicon.

Felt wheels

The circles made of felt are most often used for metal car body parts. Such products come in different types, depending on the level of wooliness of the polishing coating. For polishing, it is recommended to purchase thick-haired circles, which best cope with the removal of fairly deep scratches from non-ferrous metal surfaces. Shorthair circles are used less often.

The diameter of the felt disks can be from 70 to 250 mm, and the width remains the same. 25 mm.

Volcanic (rubber) disks

Such discs remove a thin layer of paintwork, after which the surface is mirror-like. Therefore, volcanic circles are used only at the final stage of polishing, when coarser disks have already been used.

The polishing surface of the circles is made of vulcanized rubber with the addition of abrasive components.

As a rule, only metal surfaces are treated with a rubber polishing disk, at the final stage of restoration work.

Felt discs

Felt circles are used at the stage of the main work, after rough processing, but before the final polishing.

Felt products cope with most types of damage and effectively "work" not only on metal surfaces, but also suitable for headlights, glass, bumpers and other body parts.

When using such a universal product, one important nuance must be taken into account. the disk must be periodically moistened in water. Then it will be several times more effective.

Also felt disks are suitable for almost all polishing pastes, in the compartment with which they remove scratches even faster.

ZM disks

Circles of this type are used after the car parts have been coated with a primer and varnish. Such products are most easily attached, and sometimes, even completely, are used without grinders. By and large, ZM is a cheap expendable material for washing and dry polishing body parts from any material.

Foam is most often used as a polishing layer in such disks. When choosing foam discs, one nuance should be taken into account. the smaller the cells of the circle, the better it will polish the paintwork.

Please note that the nozzle on the drill for polishing the car will be less effective than the disk mounted on the grinder (or as it is popularly called “angle grinder”). Therefore, we will consider some recommendations for choosing specialized equipment.

Choose a car polisher

To purchase a reliable and inexpensive angle grinder for polishing a car, you should pay attention to the following technical parameters of the tool:

  • The power of the unit should be about 1200. 1400 watts. In this case, the grinder will cope with a large number of tasks.
  • Pay attention to the speed adjustment function. If available, you can carry out all stages of polishing in the highest quality. In addition, thanks to such modes, it will be possible to process different types of surfaces.
  • The presence of a compensator. Thanks to power compensation, you can change the load level, while maintaining the number of revolutions of the unit. The fact is, jumps in speed (when pressing and releasing the machine) can lead to rapid overheating of the paintwork surface sensitive to high temperatures.
  • Soft start of the engine. This function protects you from inrush currents during long tool life. Thanks to this mode, the machine can be turned on when it is already installed on the surface of the body. "Burnout" in this case will not occur.

Good afternoon, dear readers. Today a mini-review of polishing nozzles on a drill.

I bought myself for polishing aluminum profiles, which I use in DIY.

An overview of such nozzles only on the angle grinder was already on the site.

Delivery was without a track in the usual yellow package.

The whole set of nozzles: It includes. two flat foam nozzles, two tuberous foam nozzles, one fleecy (similar to wool, but synthetic) nozzle and a base nozzle, which is installed in the drill. over, the black nozzle is softer than orange.
Diameter of nozzles is 80 mm.
Thickness about 25 mm: Bottom fleecy fabric for attaching to the base nozzle: Base nozzle: Of dense rubber and plastic with Velcro, as on vibrosection machines. Holds well, come off with difficulty.
Steel shank. with a diameter of 8 and a length of 27 mm. Suitable for any drill or screwdriver, even can be put in a desktop machine.

Shaggy nozzle: For finishing polishing.

On a screwdriver: No beats: This set is positioned for polishing the paintwork of cars, but as for me, the diameter of the nozzles is small for a car.
To polish the auto bodywork, polishing pastes are necessary, for household needs, I just bred the crushed GOI paste in kerosene. Dirty home polishing work.
Test material: After a couple of minutes with a flat orange nozzle:
The screwdriver speed is only 900 rpm.
With polishing knives, skill is needed, shredding the nozzle: Nozzle after five minutes of operation: You cannot explicitly call it reusable, although it will take longer for flat surfaces.

In general, the purchase will not be superfluous, inexpensive, and not all hands sparkle.

Thanks for attention! Enjoy the shopping!

Assortment of nozzles

The most common products for processing a car body are: sponge-shaped, abrasive with varying degrees of granularity, felt, with a soft surface. They are conditionally classified according to the type of production into two types:

  • petal (has great performance and high price);
  • surface grinding (made as a rubber disc having an additional coating for processing).

The material for these items is dense foam or felt having a different diameter. However, kits consisting of several elements are sold, which have a different purpose and manufacturing complexity.

Varieties of forms

The polishing nozzle on the drill is mainly in the form of a circle or cone. They are often supplemented with polishes. They ensure the preservation of the appearance and technical characteristics of the vehicle.

Circle stiffness

The softness of the polishing paste dictates the choice of a circle made of foam rubber or felt with varying degrees of stiffness. Manufacturers sell circles of different colors, which corresponds to their stiffness:

  • the softest is black;
  • universal. orange;
  • hard. white.

DIY nozzles

If there is no suitable option for sale, then for a disk with a high level of stiffness, you can make a soft layer of large thickness and place it between the Velcro and the plastic base. With a clerical knife, you need to cut off the Velcro, where a soft layer will be glued. For a soft layer, a bath sponge is mainly used. Must remember, that individual elements can shift, breaking the general symmetry.

You can also use a felt disc, which is used in a polishing machine and machine. First, a pin having a suitable diametric size should be made, and thread on one side of it. On this side you need to fix the disk, which is surrounded on both sides by a wide nut and a restrictive washer. This device has no difficulties in manufacturing and can be used for processing various surfaces.

Application Nuances

Body elements of new cars are made using modern technologies. Anticorrosion composition and paint are applied to the metal, which are characterized by wear resistance. They will serve for approximately 15 years. However, such coverage is better preserved., if you take proper care of him. The polishing device restores the original shine and removes defects from the surface. Together with a special tool, such a product will cost less than the services provided in the workshop.

Body polishing

The polishing process can fix only a few defects. If there is corrosion on the body, chips or damage through which the steel frame is visible, then a major overhaul is required.

Before starting the polishing process, you should conduct a thorough inspection of the car and make sure that the deficiencies can be eliminated.

Processing the body with a special device will give a positive result when:

  • a slight difference in shades, which turned out after partial staining;
  • the presence of roughness, scratches and cloudy stains;
  • a dull layer of paint;
  • the appearance of grit and stains of enamel.

You need to know that polishing cannot be abused, because when it is done, the paint layer becomes 5 micrometers smaller. From the day the vehicle is manufactured, no more than 20 polishing procedures can be performed. At this time, you need to use a thickness gauge, especially if the car is supported.

Polishing wheel

Using the polishing wheel on the drill, you can update the appearance of the car. This procedure is most effective if you need to smooth out small chips or eliminate surface tarnishing.

The work is performed in 2 stages:

  • paint removal from the surface of the body;
  • applying a polishing composition.

Protective treatment is also performed to reduce the negative effects of various types of precipitation and ultraviolet radiation. Basically, they do it when preparing a car for sale. The protective layer (it contains wax or silicone) is distributed over the surface of the body to form a moisture-repellent film that is invisible to the eye and make the body shiny. A soft nozzle can be used to polish a supported machine if there is no paint damage on it. And it can also be used with gentle treatment with a protective agent.

Materials for the processing of a car body

To carry out the procedure Car processing needs the following materials:

  • foam rubber;
  • sandpaper;
  • grinding composition;
  • bike;
  • polish.

The means by which the surface of the body will be processed must be carefully selected. A paste having abrasive particles is needed to remove the top coat of varnish. It must be selected depending on the type of cracks and chips present on the body. A tool where the number of particles is large is necessary if the defects are very noticeable. Now on sale a large assortment of drugs that give color brightness.

The protective coating of a new car may acquire muddy stains. In such a situation, reducing paste containing a grinding aid will be sufficient.

A variety of tools can solve any problem. For a vertical surface it is convenient to use a thick paste. It can be processed any part of the machine. It is often added to a component that increase the brightness of the color.

A polish having a liquid constitution is suitable for a horizontal surface, for example, for a roof or hood. The main advantage of such a tool is that they can not damage the enamel.

It is convenient to use aerosols. They are economical and effective. However, the spray does not contain much.
