Gasoline does not flow into the combustion chamber of the chainsaw

We adjust the maximum number of revolutions

As mentioned earlier, the maximum RPM is set with screw H, the RPM increases when it is turned clockwise, decreases when it is turned counterclockwise.

The highest speed of rotation of engines of gasoline chainsaws is in the range of 11,500. 15,000 rpm, depending on the model. Higher speeds are dangerous for the engine and will prevent it from starting. Maximum rpm can be determined by misfiring. If any, turn the screw H counterclockwise.

The tire is not getting oil

Usually, if oil does not flow to the chainsaw chain, you need to check the channels through which the oil is supplied to the tire and clean them of contamination. If the previous steps did not find the cause of the problem, then you will have to check the oil pump. For this you need:

  • remove part of the chainsaw cover;
  • remove the clutch;
  • unscrewing 3 screws, remove the cover that hides the pump;
  • reach the worm gear that rotates the pump shaft.

If the thread on it is worn out, then the shaft does not rotate, the pump does not work, the chain is not lubricated. The worn gear must be replaced. You can also pull out the oil pump itself and manually try to pump oil through it. If it does not pump, the pump should be replaced.

gasoline, does, flow, combustion

Remember to remove the oil filter from the reservoir and clean it if necessary.

Also, the lack of lubricant may be due to its leakage. It should be checked how tightly connected the pipes coming from the oil pump. If the tightness is broken, the tubes are replaced with new ones.

Ignition system malfunctions

First of all, the reason that the chainsaw does not start must be looked for in the ignition system of the unit. You need to start by checking the candle, since there is a possibility that the spark has disappeared.

By the state of the unscrewed plug, you can determine how the fuel system works. The candle is unscrewed with a special key.

The following illustration shows the 3 options for the spark plug condition.

A spark plug splashed with fuel indicates an excess of fuel in the cylinder. If the candle fills, then most likely the carburetor is incorrectly adjusted, or the rules for starting the engine have been violated. The candle must be well wiped and dried. You should also dry the combustion chamber:

  • shut off the fuel supply;
  • with the plug unscrewed, pull the starter several times so that all the gasoline is removed from the cylinder:
  • install the plug in place and adjust the carburetor according to the instructions.

A large amount of carbon deposits on the plug is caused by an incorrect ratio between oil and gasoline during preparation of the fuel mixture, as well as malfunctions in the fuel supply system. If the mixture is prepared correctly, using quality oil, then the carburetor should be adjusted. The carbonized candle must be cleaned by rinsing in gasoline. After that, you need to wipe it dry, remove the remains of burning with a needle and clean the electrodes with fine sandpaper.

You should also check the spark plug for the correct gap between the electrodes. Normally, the spark plug gap should be between 0.5 and 0.65 mm.

If the spark plug is dry, it is required to check for the presence of a spark on its electrodes to rule out a malfunction of the ignition system.

  • Put the cap with the high voltage cable on the candle.
  • Holding the cap, attach the thread of the candle to the cylinder.
  • Pull the starter handle several times and see if a spark jumps between the electrodes. Normally, the spark should be bright. A weak spark indicates a possible malfunction in the ignition coil or in the spark plug itself.

If there is a spark, then the problem must be looked for in the fuel system. There is no spark. the reason may lie in the candle itself (it needs to be replaced) or in the ignition system. A lack of spark can cause a damaged cable, which should be checked by “ringing” a tester. With a good wire, you need to move on. check the ignition module. A malfunction of the ignition coil or an incorrectly set gap between it and the magnet can also cause the fact that the spark has disappeared.

Ignition on a chainsaw is simple: a permanent magnet is attached to the engine shaft. A coil is fixed near it under a certain gap. When the magnet rotates, an electric current is generated in the coil, which is fed to the electrodes of the candle. In the next photo, the arrow shows where the correct gap is set between the coil and the magnet.

The gap between these parts should be 0.2-0.4 mm. The walls of an ordinary plastic bottle have such a thickness, and you can make a template (probe) from it by cutting off a small strip.

2-Stroke Engine. Causes of Excess Fuel Flooding into Engine. Chainsaw Won’t Start

  • unscrew the screws holding the coil;
  • lay a template between the magnet and the coil;
  • press the coil lightly against the magnet;
  • tighten the spool fixing screws and remove the template.

Chainsaw does not idle

In this case, you should start looking for a malfunction with the filter elements. For the most part, it is precisely because of the decrease in the throughput of the air and gasoline filters that the idle speed begins to “float”.

If everything is in order with the filters, then it is necessary to check the components of the gas supply system, as well as to make sure that there is no spontaneous change in the carburetor settings.

The chain does not spin

This nuisance often pursues inexperienced owners of chainsaws. They forget to release the brake after starting the engine. As a result, the chain does not spin, the brake system overheats, and the clutch mechanism fails. The problem is solved by removing the saw from the brake. If the clutch is not “burnt out,” you will notice the chain spinning. Otherwise, the clutch mechanism will need to be replaced.

Why does the chainsaw smoke

Most often, excessive smoke appears when excessive oil is added to the fuel mixture, which does not have time to completely burn out. You should also check if the carburetor settings are out of order.

Malfunction of other systems

In some cases, users of chainsaws note other problems that do not significantly affect the operation of the tool.

Three screws will help us to adjust the carburetor:

  • “L”. low, for setting low rpm
  • “H”. high, for setting the upper speed
  • “T” (“LA”, “S”). for adjusting idle speed (models that have only one screw have exactly the “T” screw)

When adjusting the carburetor of a chainsaw, the following rules should be observed:

  • Make sure the saw chain is facing away from you.
  • Place the saw on a stable, level surface with the cutting part not touching any objects.

Please note: the instructions indicate the exact angles of rotation of the adjusting screws. Strict adherence to the instructions in the instructions will avoid damage to the engine.

The process of adjusting the carburetor itself includes two points: basic (when the engine is not running) and final (when the engine is running warm).

Nodes and mechanisms

The launch of a new Neva walk-behind tractor can be very problematic. This is due to the fact that there is air in the system. If the starter fails to turn on, bleed all the air.

To do this, open the diesel fuel supply valve and unscrew all connections along the path of the fuel channel to the nozzle itself.

To start an internal combustion engine, follow these steps:

  • prepare a mixture of fuel;
  • put fuel into the cylinder;
  • light the mixture;
  • release exhaust gases.

The problem may be with the spark plug. If it is completely wet, there is an excess of oil. It is necessary to dry the part, pump the cylinder through the hole and screw the plug into place. Then try to turn on the single-axle tractor.

If the spark plug is completely dry, then fuel is not entering the ignition chamber. To restore the supply system, you need to do the following:

  • get rid of old gasoline;
  • clean the tank;
  • clean the dirt from the filter;
  • clean and blow out the fuel supply hoses;
  • clean the jets in the carburetor;
  • fill in new gasoline;
  • open the tap;
  • clean the airway in the lid.

Starting a petrol and diesel unit

The equipment is equipped with gasoline or diesel engines. The start of a diesel walk-behind tractor and a gasoline apparatus is different. For this reason, the factors that prevent the unit from starting should be analyzed for each specific type of motor.

Before purchasing a uniaxial tractor, special equipment is prepared. It is necessary to make sure that absolutely all elements are present, make sure that the mechanisms are firmly attached.

Mechanisms often refuse to work after winter. A long break becomes a prerequisite for malfunctions in the walk-behind tractor systems. Storage in a cool and humid environment will result in the following malfunctions:

  • oxidation of contacts;
  • violation of the insulation of wiring;
  • watering of fuel and oil;
  • clogged carburetor jets.

Before starting a new walk-behind tractor, they control absolutely all connections, clutch cable, reverse and gas. Do not turn on the device if there are clamps and twisting of the threads of the bundle.

During the first start, be sure to check the oil level in the crankcase. Lack of lubrication will ruin the piston group. The crankshaft rotates up to 1400 revolutions per minute at idle speed. A couple of seconds are enough to create a seizure on the plane of the cylinder.

Old oil can cause the engine to stop working. At the same time, a single-axle tractor emits white exhaust gases. An absolute oil change begs.

It should be borne in mind that the mini-tractor does not start up poorly when there is a lack of oil. Observe this parameter before starting a carburetor and diesel single-axle tractor. In some modifications, protection is determined at a low level. The device blocks the start, and the unit freezes.

It should not be forgotten that any type of engine requires a specific brand of gasoline. For a two-stroke engine, the fuel is prepared separately. The fuel mixture consists of fuel and oil. The number of ingredients is kept in strict balance.

Methods for repairing engines of the Neva walk-behind tractor

The problem can arise in both an old engine and a brand new one. However, do not despair. Even a non-professional can find the cause and eliminate it.

Repair of mechanisms

Starting a diesel after purchase can be difficult. The problem is that air is getting into the fuel supply system. If it is not possible to start with a long scrolling (starter), it is necessary to release the air plugs. To do this, open the feed valve and untwist the connections along the channels. The final purging point is the nozzles.

In order for the internal combustion engine to start, several conditions must be met. Let’s list them in order:

The fulfillment of the above conditions ensures the start of any engine.

Reanimation of the walk-behind tractor after winter and the most common failures of the walk-behind tractor.

I tried to start the uniaxial tractor after winter, but the uniaxial tractor did not start. How to start a single-axle tractor if it does not start can only be assumed at the beginning, because there may be several reasons:

How to avoid breakdowns of the Neva walk-behind tractor?

Every farmer knows how expensive any technique is, as well as the repair of parts. Of course, if you have extra funds, you can afford to buy new components or even new equipment.

But nevertheless, it is worth adhering to simple rules in order to extend the life of your Neva walk-behind tractor. As mentioned above, before starting work, check the entire mechanical part for faults.

Also read the instructions before starting work, where the points describe what and how to do. Storage plays an important role. Moisture can cause corrosion in different parts of the unit. Oil and fuel can just go bad.

Chainsaw Won’t Start Fuel Issues

If you value your equipment, adhere to the storage rules, and also promptly clean the equipment from contamination when working in the ground, as well as from the accumulation of burning on various parts. Remember to check the oil and change it in time. And then your single-axle tractor Neva will serve for many years, pleasing with its excellent condition.

A mini tractor is considered a functional device. It is irreplaceable for housekeeping. Attached special equipment makes it possible to carry out the processing of the territory, mowing grass, snow removal, transportation of goods, planting and harvesting. A situation often arises when a single-axle tractor does not start. The owner must establish the reason for the refusal and eliminate the damage.

Chainsaw Quick Tip #5. Plugged Carburetor Problems & Repair

Ignition system

Why does the engine of the Neva walk-behind tractor not start? Due to a malfunction in the ignition system. The cause could be a magneto, cap, spark plug, or high voltage wire. Every detail must be examined. If dirt or moisture is present, this may be the root cause of the problem. Everything needs to be cleaned and dried.

Another reason is the lack of a spark. This is due to poor contact between the cap and the center electrode of the spark plug. A candle can also cause a weak spark. Check the gap and condition of the electrodes. Remove all burns from all parts and insulator.

The piston system can also malfunction. It is necessary to check the condition of each component part. There is a huge load here, and the rubbing surfaces get very hot.

Check the inlet and outlet valves, which should fit snugly against the seats. The last path on the path of diagnosis is a muffler. Combustion products are deposited on the walls of this part. To avoid stalling the engine, you need to periodically clean the channels of the muffler.
