Kind time of the day. The garden was plowed, vibration appeared. What is the reason? uniaxial tractor “Forza”. Thank you.

Sergey (Pollie) At idle, too, vibration?

Alexander (Jemma) look motor mount

Andrei (Pasha) I also have, but it’s not like vibration and jitters, I think I need to put some rubber bands to try

Sergey (Pollie) Ground could get on the pulley stream and the balance is upset. Take off the belt and clean the streams. This was often the case on the Zubr walk-behind tractor

Alexander (Jemma) but I, too, how to say the jitters at idle, is already transferred to the cart

Oil change in Wrangler TJ axles.

Greetings) Of course, the oil in the bridges changes according to the mileage, but the car was recently bought, and it is not clear what and when the previous owners poured into the bridges, so I decided to change everything. To do this, I purchased 3 liters of Liqui Moly 75W90 transmission oil and 6 cylinders of universal Step-Up cleaner.

1) Clean the gear cover with an iron brush from adhering dirt.

From under the dirt, nameplates appeared, in this case 3.73 (gear ratio).

2) Unscrew the filler plug (3/8 “square). Always start with the filler plug, because if it does not unscrew. It is better not to start.

4) Unscrew the cover fixing bolts (head 17/32, about 13.5 mm).

5) Remove the cover and drain the old oil. Careful, don’t pour yourself over.

6) Thoroughly spill all the insides of the bridge with a cleaner (you can use any car in an aerosol).

7) Remove the remnants of the old sealant with a metal brush.

9) With a rag we collect the remnants of the cleaner from the differential case.

10) Thoroughly blow through all the insides with compressed air (the task is to completely dry the remains of the cleaner).

11) We turn to the lid, it also needs to be thoroughly cleaned of sealant and dirt.

Don’t skimp on sealant, buy only high quality high temperature car sealant.

The sealant must be applied with a flat roller approx. 6 mm in diameter without tearing. The holes are supposed to be bypassed from the inside.

14) Carefully, trying not to lubricate the sealant, install the cover in place.

15) Stretch the mounting bolts with a torque wrench (torque 41 Nm). Gently wipe off excess sealant with a rag. Do not rush to fill in oil immediately, let the sealant dry.

With the rear gearbox, everything is exactly the same. The only thing is that its lid turned out to be more rusty. Therefore, it was decided to sandblast it.

I will describe the process of pouring oil in words. bring the car suspension to the working position (support it from below or put it on the wheels), pour oil through the filler hole to the level of the plug (until it starts pouring back), reinstall the plug (lubricate it with a thin layer of sealant). I hope this article is useful to you.

P.s. I apologize for the low-quality pictures, I photographed on my phone.

I also adjusted the rear pads today, it looks like no one was there from the factory. And they did not use the handbrake, since the automatic transmission.

Changing the oil in the gearbox and the gearbox of the walk-behind tractor. Youtube

After changing the oil in the engine of the walk-behind tractor, it is necessary to change the oil in the gearbox and gearbox.In this video I will show you how I change the oil in the gearbox.

Oil change in the motor of the “Neva” walk-behind tractor

First of all, you need to find out if you need to change the lubricant? It is possible that its level is still sufficient for the effective functioning of the cultivator. If you still need to change the oil, place the cultivator on a leveled surface and clean the area around the plug (plug) of the dipstick for pouring lubricant into the motor. This plug is located on the bottom end of the motor.

How to set the oil level after changing? Quite simply: by means of a measuring probe (probe). To establish the oil level, wipe the dipstick dry, and then, without twisting the plugs, insert it into the oil filler neck. The oil imprint on the probe can be used to determine which spirit level it is at. On a note! The amount of lubricant in the motor should not overlap the limit mark in any way. If there is an excess of oil in the container, it will pour out. This will increase inappropriate lubricant costs and therefore operating costs.

Hydrostatic Transmission Drain Plug Install/Fluid Change

Before inspecting the oil level, the engine must cool down. A recently functioning motor or gearbox will provide incorrect parameters for the amount of oil, and the level will be significantly higher than it actually is. When the components have cooled down, you can measure the level accurately.

Any technical equipment has a complex design, where absolutely everything is interdependent. If you value your own equipment, dream that it will work as long as possible, then you must not only look after it, but also buy good spare parts, fuel and oils. But if you start using low-quality oil, then in the future you will encounter a number of complications and the technique may need repairs. In this note, we will describe which oils (lubricants) are suitable for a particular unit and methods for replacing oils in a walk-behind tractor.

Do I need to fill and change the oil in the air filter of the motor cultivator?

In the vast majority of situations, it is enough just to slightly saturate the air filter sponge with machine oil. However, the air filters of certain modifications of motoblocks are in an oil bath. in such a situation, lubricant should be added to the level marked on the oil bath.

Gearbox malfunctions and repairs

Like any other technique, walk-behind tractors can also fail. If the problem lies in the gearbox, you need to disassemble and repair it. Often the breakdown turns out to be insignificant and you can easily cope with it yourself.

First, you need to thoroughly clean this part from dirt and oil residues, which will also need to be drained. All parts must be inspected and checked for damage. If something is out of order, it needs to be replaced. Use only new elements that are suitable specifically for your Neva walk-behind tractor model. Also, do not forget to add oil after assembly.

BCS & Grillo Transmission Gear Oil Change

Some common gearbox failures:

  • broken spring or clips. They need to be replaced with new ones and then adjusted;
  • the settings in the switching system are out of order. You need to loosen the screws, turn on the first gear, tighten the screws back;
  • oil seeps through the shaft. Most likely the reason is the worn cuff. It needs to be replaced with a new one. How to replace oil seals? It is enough to remove the old ones by prying them with a screwdriver or other object, and install new ones;
  • jamming appeared. Perhaps this is due to an open circuit. It needs to be replaced with a new one;
  • cannot commit the transmission. The reason is the worn out fork brush, so it needs to be replaced.

These are the main and most common gearbox failures. It is very important. if you cannot fix the breakdown yourself, then you should seek professional help.

Gearbox device on the Neva walk-behind tractor

The Neva walk-behind tractor gearbox is responsible for the transmission of rotation coming from the motor to the wheels and attachments. It controls rotational number, speed, and direction. forward or backward. In principle, the gearbox for the MB 2 and MB 1 models is not much different, so here we will consider the second option. The device of the gearbox is made in such a way that the components necessary for changing gears are located on its outer part.

The gearshift lever has 5 positions. When you push down on it, the fork disengages the clutch. When you drop the lever, the fork resumes its original position. a single axle tractor will stop when the drive is connected to the right axle shaft. Torque comes from the sprocket. When the handle is recessed by engaging the left sprocket, the gear is down. If you need top gear, the handle must be fully extended.

Checking and adjusting the clutch of the Neva MB-2 walk-behind tractor

The main function of the clutch is to connect the gearbox to the engine, disconnect it, as well as connect other working devices to the engine. If an overload occurs during operation, the clutch begins to slip. this is how other parts of the walk-behind tractor are protected from breakage.

Checking the clutch operation can be carried out according to the scheme below.

If the clutch lever is in the OFF position, the clutch cable is loose. Consequently, the idler pulley goes down and comes into contact with the drive belt. Then the drive belt and the small roller move to the lowered position. this is how the power supply from the engine to the transmission stops.

When the clutch lever is in the on position, the clutch cable tightens the tension roller, so the bottom of the belt is tightly pressed, the small pulley drives the large pulley and power is transferred.

Adjustment or adjustment of the clutch of the Neva MB-2 walk-behind tractor is performed as follows:

  • if the clutch lever is engaged, it will raise the idler pulley, driving the single axle tractor. Correct position. parallel V-belts on either side of the engine pulley.
  • if the clutch lever is loose, the idler roller will lower and disengage the clutch. To avoid disengaging the clutch, and therefore slipping the walk-behind tractor, you need to monitor the position of the V-belts, bringing them to a parallel position.

Possible breakdowns

It is worth saying that the gearbox from the Neva-MB-2 walk-behind tractor is repaired quickly and easily. This is possible due to the fact that you can always find spare parts for it on the market. Such a need arises when the following symptoms appear:

  • oil starts to appear on the output shaft;
  • the chain is jammed;
  • no kinematic connection;
  • no gear shifting.

In all these cases, it is required to disassemble and inspect the gearbox. If oil leaks, the problem can be eliminated by simply replacing the cuff, which can lose its original qualities over time. Jamming is always associated with a broken chain, so this problem can only be eliminated by a complete replacement. If this element is intact, but there is no kinematic connection, you should pay attention to the sprockets present in the design. One of them could break off.

In the absence of a gear change, a cracker is inspected, which can be destroyed. Sometimes the threaded part of the handle is cut off. If the user begins to notice that oil leakage is observed on the shift shaft, then this is not always an indicator of a breakdown. Sometimes the permissible oil level in the gearbox is simply exceeded. Excess just needs to be drained.

It is worth remembering that improper start-up and adjustment can also lead to malfunctions during the operation of the gearbox, therefore the manufacturer advises to carefully study the instructions before using the equipment.

complex breakdowns should be eliminated only by specialists, since improper disassembly of the unit by an inexperienced user often leads to an even greater problem and the need for expensive repairs.

The following video is about the disassembly and repair of the gearbox.

single-axle tractor “Neva”

is one of the enterprises of the country’s military-industrial complex and specializes in the production of such complex and highly loaded equipment as gearboxes and auxiliary equipment for aircraft. Since Soviet times, the plant has been producing equipment for the processing of garden plots. motor-cultivators and motor-blocks “Neva” in various configurations with engines and attachments.

Features of the

A gear-chain unit is installed in the design of the walk-behind tractor, the main task of which is the transmission of rotational motion, and therefore, the change in the rotational speed of the cutters. It is thanks to the gearbox from the driven pulley that the mechanical action is transmitted to the wheels of the equipment, whereby the speed and direction are changed.

There is oil inside the housing, which is necessary to ensure the operation of the gearbox. The element is enclosed in a robust sealed housing. Its kinematic diagram consists of a chain and two stars located in opposite directions. The lower one is called the driven one, since it stands on the shaft and drives the entire system of the walk-behind tractor.

Candle malfunctions

First of all, check the performance of the candle.

To do this, unscrew the candle, wipe the electrodes and remove carbon deposits. Then follow the steps described above in the ignition adjustment. The candles are working. if there is a spark. If there is no spark, the spark plug may need to be replaced.

In the operating instructions for the Neva MB-2 walk-behind tractor, the manufacturer indicates the size of the gaps between the spark plug electrodes and the recommended spark plug models:

  • spark plug А11Р (made in Russia). gap 0.5 ÷ 0.6 mm. Wrench dimensions 20.8 mm;
  • spark plug NR17С (BRISK). gap 0.5 ÷ 0.6 mm. Wrench dimensions 20.8 mm;
  • candle WR8AC (BOSCH). gap 0.5 ÷ 0.6 mm. Wrench dimensions 20.8 mm.

Before starting work of the walk-behind tractor, it is necessary to check whether a sealing washer is installed on the spark plug and whether a sealing washer from the previous spark has remained in the cylinder head hole.

Remove and install the spark plug only after the cylinder head has completely cooled down to ambient temperature. If, when removing the spark plug from the engine, the tightening torque was exceeded by more than 50%, further use of such a spark plug is NOT ALLOWED.

Appointment

The possibilities of regulating the speed of rotation of the shaft of an internal combustion engine are limited by the available operating modes, therefore, in motor equipment (from motoblocks to cars), devices are traditionally used that allow you to change the speed of rotation transmitted from the engine to certain structural elements.

If a gearbox is used for this purpose in cars, then gearboxes are traditionally installed on Neva walk-behind tractors, which make it possible to control the rotation speed, torque and direction of movement. It is to this element that the wheels of the device are connected, and various attachments that require connection to the engine (for example, cultivator cutters, mower blades, brooms, and so on).
