  • We bend it a little into an arc.
  • We insert the wire-probe into the filler hole of the motoblock gearbox and push it to the end (all the way) along the gearbox body, that is, to the very bottom.
  • We take out the wire.

The wire should be approximately 25-30 cm in oil, in other words, the oil level in the gearbox installed on a single-axle tractor (that is, in the working position) should be approximately at the level of the second bolt from the bottom, the middle bolt (position 10 in the diagram here). which secures the block of sprockets number two of the gearbox (position 9 in the diagram here).

  • If the oil is at the tip of this dipstick, then there is no need to top up any more.

As a rule, the oil change procedure must be performed every 100 hours of operation of the walk-behind tractor. In some cases, this procedure must be performed every 50 hours.
