We take the machine or just the knives to the nearest household, where they are engaged in sharpening. The result will be guaranteed and fairly inexpensive.
You can use an abrasive stone for sharpening. But you have to be careful, any wrong angle when pressing can break off a piece of the knife or make it even dumber.
Also, craftsmen use ordinary sandpaper, preferably size 5. But working with an emery board is even more difficult than with a sharpening stone. The result will be fast, cheap, but not always of high quality.

Care for kitchen appliances

So you don’t have to shell out big bucks for repairs in a hurry, it pays to take care of it beforehand (see “Maintenance and repairs” on page 31).(See also the article on kitchen cleaning).

There are a few simple rules to prolong the life of any kitchen appliance:

After each use, rinse all parts with warm water, detergent if necessary, and wipe dry. This will allow the knives not to blunt for a long time, and the plastic parts will shine like new.
Wipe the main compartment of the housing where the motor is located with a damp cloth to prevent water from getting inside.
Once a year, after the warranty period is over, you should disassemble the machine and check if any part has started to burn or if a brush has worn out. If you change a “weak” part beforehand, it will not cause damage to other elements. There are numerous videos on the internet that show how to disassemble the model.
