A plot of 20 acres, I mowed (a girl weighing 55 kg) 10 acres of grass ankle-high. The mower is very light, so as not to drag it on your hands and not get tired, you just need to center the belt so that the mower simply hangs as it should, then there is no weight on your hands at all. The button under the thumb is only needed for that. to start the mower, it does not need to be kept constantly. The lower lever is held quietly, but you hold the handle and the lever with it, mowed down for a couple of hours at intervals, the hand did not get tired. The fishing line has not ended, it also mows thick weeds, even cut branches of currant (by chance), it mows in the other direction than other mowers, this is not usual, and indeed this terrible casing, the first two times I spat and threw it, took a healthy gasoline and mowed it, but in the end I pulled myself together and began to mow this one, got used to it quickly and thanks to the casing and rotation it absolutely does not throw grass.

I bought mowing grass on a plot of 10 acres. 5 of them were already mowed last year, 5 did not touch at all, but this year decided to cultivate. The trimmer is great if you have not run the site, and the grass is not to the waist. Then she tears the grass into dust, gets stuck, there is not enough power to grind this whole thing. I did this: with an ordinary scythe, I walked all the grass under the root, then I trimmed it with a trimmer, it turned out to be a sight for sore eyes. Someone here complained about the high consumption of fishing line, and so, do not mow the grass under the root, to the ground! This inevitably leads to spool hits and, consequently, the release of fishing line. In addition, the fishing line is erased even faster on the ground, stones, solid stems at the base. This product is ideal for leveling and cultivating your site. He pressed the rotating spool to the ground. the fishing line moved, the built-in knife was cut as it should. It took me about 5 m to 10 hundred parts, I think it is quite acceptable. As for management, then yes, we must keep it, but the effort is ridiculous. Maybe, of course, I’m a hellish summer resident, but without a break I mowed for an hour, nothing was tired. Do not mow thick herbs, especially dry ones. There is little sense, you only spend fishing line. Take hard grass oblique, this is for young grass, it grinds it into porridge. Loved to clean it. He took a twig, cleaned everything big in a minute, then wiped it with a rag and everything. like out of a box. If it were still a damp cloth, then how would a new one look. In general, I recommend the product, like everything from makita, it does its job perfectly.

I bought in addition to the wheeled Makita 3710, which has been serving faithfully for the 4th season. My lawns are even so the main assistant is "tachanka". Here it is a pleasure to mow. The main thing with its power "tachanka" no noise. He took the same only for hard-to-reach revenge and as a cosmetic refinement of the territory. I note right away that the Makita 3501 is not intended for long and hard mowing. it is an amateur tool. If you want the braid to work longer, then give it to yourself and rest every 10-15 minutes. work. Do not overheat the engine and the boom. Very pleased with the bobbin. She is assembled with fishing line. Everything is designed simply, logically and reliably. By the way, if something breaks, then there are enough spare parts. Service support is good.

The location of the protective cover allows you to mow only in one direction. from right to left (oh, these Japanese!). In the opposite direction. the casing covers the fishing line from the grass (or vice versa). A smooth start and a small stroke of the trigger. this is to protect against getting under the fishing line. if that did not work. As a result, two minutes later the arm gets tired. the trigger pulls down. the engine turns off, and restarting. even for a couple of seconds, but it is unpleasant to wait. Suspension on the strap nafig is not needed. only limits "scope". The fastening of the spool on two screws with grovers raises the question: at the first mowing, one screw rested in memory in the grass, the second remained. rested its head against the screw securing the casing.

I did not notice much difference with the 600-watt Oleomak. However, it is quite possible to squeeze young raspberries and already elderly nettles. In general, for this money, this is a normal model. But not more.

Honestly worked for 9 seasons with a solid load. Instead, it bought UR3501. almost the twin brother of the former. It also does not fail, so the reputation of the brand Makita once again proved itself.

For a long time we didn’t go to the cottage, the grass grew to the waist on the site, it’s time to mow it. He deliberately did not buy a lawn mow; instead I bought an electric Makita 3501. It is already delivered almost completely assembled. all that remains is to screw on the protective shield (1 screw) and the handle (4 screws). Before that, I took it from my neighbors on "Test Drive" the MDT mower is also 1 kW, but did not like it. poor weight distribution, a tight trigger (hand quickly gets tired to squeeze), the engine heats up very significantly in operation, so holding a hand on the body is unpleasant. When I started mowing this Makita, I didn’t note any of the above jambs. the weight distribution is excellent, the trigger is quite light, the engine does not heat up at all (a bit warm, while the neighboring MDT was really hot). 2mm mowing line is undeniably better than 1.6mm installed on many models. The only thing you can complain about is that there is no special lock to secure the extension cord, which is kind of illogical (I have a Makita saw, there is a special carbine for this). I solved the problem with a plastic screed, so that in principle it doesn’t soar. I definitely recommend this model. Do not chase for cheapness, take the normal thing from a reputable manufacturer.
