3 Safety and operating instructions General information High water pressure generated and connection to a power source are sources of increased danger. Before commissioning for the first time, read the operating instructions carefully and save the manual for future reference. Failure to follow safety instructions can be life threatening. Observe the safety rules in force in the country (e.g., professional societies, social masses, labor protection authorities and other institutions). The use of the device is allowed only to persons who have been instructed on how to use the device and who are directly entrusted with the work with the cleaner. The instruction manual should be accessible to every user. Minors are not allowed to work with a high-pressure cleaner. Do not make any changes to the design of the device! This may adversely affect your safety. High-pressure cleaner is designed for cleaning vehicles, machinery, containers, facades, livestock buildings, as well as dust-free and spark-free rust removal. Using the device for other purposes is not permitted, as this may cause accidents to damage the device. 4 Do not pull on the high-pressure hose to move it. Never work with a damaged high-pressure hose; replace immediately! The high pressure hose must be approved for the permissible operating pressure of the device. Permissible operating pressure, permissible maximum temperature and manufacturing date are printed on the jacket of the high pressure hose. The valve indicates the permissible pressure and date of manufacture. Unsuitable cleaning agents may damage health, may damage the device and the item being cleaned. Check the reliability of the high-pressure cleaner, especially the high-pressure hose, spray device and safety devices. 5 Do not connect the high-pressure cleaner directly to the drinking water supply network. Only connect the high-pressure cleaner to the drinking water supply network together with the backflow shut-off device (special accessories). To protect against electric shock: Only plug the device into a properly installed power outlet. Use an extension cable appropriate for the application. The insulation of the connecting and extension cables must be in perfect condition. During operation, never spray electrical devices with water! Danger of short circuit! The device itself, as well as eclectic devices and installations, should never be sprayed with a high-pressure jet and a jet from a water hose. Danger of short circuit! The attendant should not direct a stream of liquid at himself or at another person, and also should not wash clothes or shoes with a stream of water. Danger of injury! Do not use the device if people without protective clothing are on the job site. Do not aim high-pressure jets at animals. Children, animals and unauthorized persons (spectators) should not be near the device. When cleaning, do not expose any hazardous substances (for example, asbestos, oil) to the environment that could escape from the object being cleaned during operation. Be sure to follow the relevant environmental regulations! Do not spray with asbestos cement with a high-pressure or steam jet. Along with dirt, dangerous asbestos fibers penetrating into the lungs can be separated. Particular danger exists after the drying of surfaces treated with a high-pressure jet and / or steam. If the connection cable is damaged, immediately pull out the connection cable plug. Danger to life due to electric shock! Sensitive parts made of rubber, fabric, etc. Do not clean with a round high-pressure jet, for example, using a rotating nozzle. When cleaning, keep a sufficient distance between the high-pressure nozzle and the surface to be cleaned, in order to avoid damage to the surface to be cleaned. The lever of the spray gun should be easy to move and after releasing it should independently return to its original position. Before starting work, check that the condition of the cleaner is in accordance with the relevant regulations. Pay particular attention to the condition of the connecting cable, plug, high-pressure hose, spray device and safety devices. 5

6 Work only while standing. Do not cover the device while it is operating, and ensure that the engine is adequately ventilated. Install a high-pressure cleaner as long as possible from the object being cleaned. Make sure that the connecting cable is not damaged due to moving through it, or as a result of crushing, breaking, etc. Do not pull the plug of the connecting cable out of the socket by the cable; grasp the plug itself! Grasp the plug and connection cable with dry hands only. Unwind the cable drum completely to avoid the risk of fire due to overheating. Hold the spray device firmly with both hands to reliably perceive the recoil force and torque that occurs additionally with sprayers with a curved steel tube. Always maintain a stable position during operation. Safety device Inadmissible high pressure when the safety device is triggered, is diverted through the bypass valve back to the suction side of the high pressure pump. The safety device is factory set and must not be reset. Maintenance and repair Before carrying out any work on the cleaner: pull the plug of the connecting cable out of the socket. Clean the cleaner regularly. Only those maintenance and repair work described in this instruction manual is allowed. All other work must be carried out by a specialist sales agent. Remove the spray gun by unscrewing the 5-lock lever. When using an extension high-pressure hose, the maximum length must not exceed 10 m. 8

9 Electrical connection of the device The mains voltage and the operating voltage must match. The device must be connected to the power source through a circuit breaker for protection against damage currents, which interrupts the current supply if the leakage current to the ground exceeds 30mA for 30ms. Insert the plug of the connecting cable into the mounted power socket. The mains connection must comply with IEC 60364 and the regulations in force in the country. For extension cables, pay attention to the minimum cable cross-section. Extension cables must be laid so that the protection class of the device is maintained. Special accessories Instructions for use and restriction of use Extending the jet tube In principle, in addition to the serial jet tube, only one extension of the jet tube is permitted. Thus, only two spray tubes can be mounted at a time. When using an extension jet pipe, the following accessories must not be mounted: RA 101 rotating washing brush. 15 Maintenance Before performing maintenance or cleaning work, be sure to pull out the plug of the connecting cable. Clean couplings of sand and dust. Rinse the foam device after use with water.
