Technical Details of The AL-KO Comfort 46.0 SP-A

With a cutting width of 46 cm, the Comfort 46.0 SP-A petrol lawn mower ensures Rapid progress even in medium-sized gardens (up to 1400 m²). The cutting height is adjusted centrally in 7 steps from 30 mm to 80 mm. Our lawnmower is powered by a 2.1 kW strong AL-KO Pro motor with overhead valves which offers excellent efficiency, which is noticeable through more power and less consumption. Thanks to the single speed wheel drive and the XXL smooth-running wheels, progress in the garden is effortless. The 4IN1function offers mowing, catching, mulching and side discharge of the lawn. The ergonomically shaped handlebar increases comfort when working. Thanks to the extra high sheet steel housing with MaxAirflow technology, the grass clippings reach the back of the 60 litre grass catcher with level indicator, which means that it is filled to the top and requires emptying less frequently.

Important Restrictions to consider:

All deliveries are usually made on 18 tonne delivery vehicles. smaller vehicles are no longer an option apart from in the Stirling area.

We use pallet trucks to move the pallets and these can only be used on firm, level ground such as concrete tarmac or monoblock. We cannot use them on loose gravel or slopes so an alternative location will need to be identified.

Terrain must be relatively level to operate the tail-lift. This should be considered for sites on a slope as it may be too dangerous to unload the vehicle on certain slopes.

The lorry has a tail lift that allows the driver to get the logs/stove/oven off the vehicle, the goods will be packed on a pallet and the driver will have a pallet truck to move it.

The photo below is the typical size of the delivery vehicle, it can vary slightly from depot to depot.

Our Pallet Delivery is a one man kerbside delivery service. The goods will arrive on a lorry that is about the size of a fire engine. (Please let us know in advance if you have restricted access).

Whilst the delivery is classed as kerbside the driver will usually try wheel the pallet as close as possible to your property, if you have a garage and terrain allows they may be able to wheel it into there for you. This decision is completely up to the driver on the day and some depots insist on kerbside delivery only. Basically you should be prepared for kerbside delivery with anything else being a bonus!

The pallets are normally about a 1.2m wide so this is the minimum width gate they can fit through. Please note that the driver is not insured to unpack or carry the goods into your house.

You’ll be asked to select your preferred delivery date when purchasing the goods. In most cases we deliver on your preferred date, if we can’t for any reason we’ll be in touch to arrange another suitable date. We cannot guarantee a specific delivery date for some PA, PH, IV, KW HS ZE postcodes. If you need the delivery on a specific date please contact us before ordering.

Please note pallet deliveries are a 8am to 6pm service. An Estimated Times of Arrival may be provided by Calido Fuels Ltd or our carrier in good faith. These ETA’s are not absolute as events can occur that mean impact these.
