Using a standard side handle, an angle grinder will be difficult to make an even cut, even at the physical level, for a strong man with persistent working abilities.

We make the axial handle from an iron tube, as it is also called a rod in the form of a horn directed upward or a palm-wide transverse bracket with a certain supply. We DO NOT splash the ends with which it will be attached to the gearbox and drill holes for the mounting bolts. If the attachment ends are splashed, the handle will bend with force during operation.

If the handle is in the shape of a horn, we spill its far end in a horizontal plane and drill a hole in a personal computer for an axis of 4-6 mm with a supply, i.e. 6-10 mm. If the handle is a bracket, under it, in the same holes in the gearbox, we attach a piece of a rod sticking out in front of it, in other words, a tube, and spill its end and drill a hole here, as indicated above. Obviously, between the rod and the bracket there will be a sufficient distance for the convenience of work. 100-150 mm.

Now we take a piece of an iron rod 4-6 mm. This will be the adjuster bar. We bend one end of it like a hinge, splash a little and drill a hole under the front bolt of the stop. Picking up washers at the front end of the stop, we achieve a uniform gap width along its entire length. With a 6 mm bar, most likely only two thin washers will come in handy, one on each side.

Now, taking into account this information, it is necessary to set the value of the outer diameter of the sleeve intended for the transition mechanism. The sleeve should be attached to the spindle in several places at once. Next, a plate with a thickness of at least 5 mm should be fixed on the body of the spindle assembly.

Now take a sprocket, about 2-2.5 times the size of the one previously installed on the spindle, and install it on a homemade circular. And at the end of the work on making a saw with your own hands, when all its parts are well fixed, put on the chain and you can use it for its intended purpose.

Do not forget to also cut the threads at the very end of the shaft so that later you can install the cutting disc on it.
