Resident Evil 4 Chainsaw Sisters Boss Guide

Resident Evil 4 Remake has retained the same bosses as its original part. One of the bosses from Resident Evil 4 is the Chainsaw Sisters, also known as Bella Sisters. They carry a deadly chainsaw in their hand to kill you. Taking them out will take some time as villagers will also attack you. But you don’t have to worry; we will guide you on tackling the Resident Evil 4 Chainsaw Sisters the villagers at the same time.

You will fight the Chainsaw Sisters in Chapter 6 of Resident Evil 4. You must head inside the main building to acquire the checkpoint crank. Unfortunately, the crank can only be acquired after defeating the Chainsaw Sisters so this is not an optional boss fight.

How to defeat Chainsaw Sisters in Resident Evil 4

Defeating the Chainsaw Sisters in RE4 is not an easy task. Not only will you have to fight them, but also the zombie villagers. So, it will be a hectic fight in a room.

Make sure to have some flash grenades and some explosive grenades with you. Also, take shotguns and machine guns to fight easily, as there will be a lot of enemies in the room.

Hide Ashley

The Chainsaw Sisters bosses in Resident Evil 4 will appear when you go to pick the checkpoint crank. You will have Ashley with you. Ensure you order her to lock herself in the locker room to be safe. So, you can fight the bosses without worrying about her safety.

Keep safe distance

When you fight the Chainsaw Sisters, the zombie villagers will also appear in good numbers to attack you. If you engage with one enemy, you are vulnerable to being attacked by others. So, keep a safe distance from them and use firearms to fight them.

Also, don’t try to melee them while hoping to dodge the incoming attack. Don’t try to dodge the chainsaw Sisters unless you need to defend yourself. Using your knife to parry their chainsaw will consume much of your stamina in Resident Evil 4. So, it is better to fight them from a distance.

Use grenades

When the Chainsaw Sisters appear, instantly throw some explosive grenades at them. It will deal a lot of damage to them in RE4 remake. Also, when many enemies attack you, use the flashbang to stun them while you retake control.

Also, when the fight will almost be over, when you shoot the last three zombies, a weird transformation will happen, and two mutant fleshy hands coming out from their heads. You can tackle this immediately by throwing a stun grenade at them. The bright flash will burn their heads.

Quickest ways to defeat the Chainsaw Sisters in RE4

There are two ways in which you can beat the Chainsaw Sisters quickly:

  • For the first method, you will need a mine-throwing gun. Plant some explosive mines when you are about to take the checkpoint crank. The best is to plant 4-5 mines on the hanging bulb at the location. When they appear, the mines will blow, and the chainsaw sister will die immediately.
  • The second method is more straightforward if you have a rocket launcher. When the chainsaw sisters appear, move to a safe distance and fire the rocket at them in Resident Evil 4. They will die immediately from the explosion.

After killing them using either of the two methods, fight the zombie villagers coming after them. Once you have taken out all of them, collect the checkpoint crank.

Resident Evil 4 Remake: Can You Kill the Chainsaw Guy?

Take out the Chainsaw Guy enemies in the Resident Evil 4 Remake to earn gemstone rewards.

Chainsaw Guy is one of Resident Evil 4 Remake‘s numerous enemies that you have to contend with. He’s also one that might frighten you at the start of the game once he appears. Thankfully, you should have the means to eliminate him and his cohorts. Here’s our RE4 Remake guide to help you kill the Chainsaw Guy.

How to Kill Chainsaw Guy in Resident Evil 4 Remake

So, can you kill the Chainsaw Guy in RE4 Remake? Yes, you can beat him. Also known as Doctor Salvador, Chainsaw Man, and Chainsaw Villager, this enemy will first appear in the Village Square, either when you attempt to barricade the interior of a house or when you pass through an alley to the right.

You’re technically not required to kill him (or anyone else) during this initial section. That’s because an internal timer will count down until the church bell rings and all the infected start to leave. You can actually skip this whole section if you’d like.

But, if you do want to eliminate him, pick up the W870 Shotgun. It’s found on the second floor of the two-story house to the left. From there, you can use the narrow streets and rooftops to your advantage, funneling in your opponents and blasting them at close range.

If the Chainsaw Man gets stunned, you can run up to him and do a roundhouse kick or knife stab for extra damage. over, the Chainsaw Guy’s attacks will tear apart other hostiles when he starts swinging his weapon. Just watch out since Leon could get ripped apart, too.

When you kill the Chainsaw Guy in Resident Evil 4 Remake, you can pick up an Emerald. This is a gemstone that can be slotted into valuable treasures to increase their selling price. Unfortunately, there’s no trophy or achievement for killing Chainsaw Guy.

RE4 Remake: Cheesing the Other Chainsaw Guy and Chainsaw Twins Encounters

The Resident Evil 4 Remake also features other Chainsaw Guy encounters, and these ones can be cheesed.

For instance, after leaving the factory (where you first meet Luis), a Chainsaw Man will appear on the wooded path. You can lure him back to the gate by the Merchant. By exiting back and forth between these area entrances, you can trick the enemy AI, making them more vulnerable to potshots.

A bit later in the game, Leon will meet up with Ashley, and the two will reach a valley with a structure. There, the Bella Sisters, also known as the Chainsaw Twins, will appear. And, much like the popular Bella Twins in WWE, you can look, but you can’t touch because they’ll slice you apart at melee range.

Instead, you’ll want to backtrack to the area’s entrance path to confuse them. As usual, these special infected or elites will drop important items or valuable gems.

And that answers whether you can kill the Chainsaw Guy in RE4 Remake. For more tips, like where to find all the Blue Medallions at the Farm or how to unlock the Shooting Gallery, click the links or head over to our Resident Evil 4 Remake guides page.

The demo for the Resident Evil 4 remake, which is coming out soon, contains a special and challenging difficulty, known as the Mad Chainsaw mode.

The Resident Evil 4 Remake’s demo, also known as the Chainsaw Demo, is available on Playstation 4 and 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The demo contains a “specially tuned version” of the game’s first level. This level involves Leon S Kennedy’s first encounter with the game’s enemies. Players can replay the demo over and over again with no restrictions on playtime. It is a great way for interested players to familiarize themselves with the game. This includes modernized gameplay, a reworked story, and more.

Of course, the demo itself has various secrets. One of which is the special Mad Chainsaw Mode. This Mad Chainsaw mode is a special difficulty that makes the demo many times harder. It makes the enemies tougher and stronger, changes up their spawn points, and disables checkpoints. Not only that, but it also buffs the chainsaw-wielding boss, giving him flaming chainsaws, amongst other things.

If you are one of the people who are interested in trying this special difficulty out, then you can easily activate the mode from the main menu. You must first highlight the Main Story option in the menu, then do the following:

  • Playstation 4 and Playstation 5: Hold L1 and R1, then press Up, Left, Down, Right, Square, Triangle, Circle, X, X
  • Xbox Series X|S: Hold LB and RB, then press Up, Left, Down, RIght, X, Y, B, A, A
  • PC: Hold Space and Shift, then press W, A, S, D, R, I, E, F

If done correctly, a pop-up should appear, telling you that you can start the game in Mad Chainsaw Mode, along with an explanation of its difficulty. It also mentions that this mode is only available in the game’s demo. However, there might be a chance that if players liked the mode enough, it may make a return in the full version of the game.
