The pipe is equipped not only with a shovel, but also with 4 rings of rubber. Their diameter should be 28 cm. They are cut out from rubber with an electric jigsaw. The bearings are placed on the tube.

To throw the snow, you need to use a pipe with a diameter of 160 mm. It should be well attached to a pipe of the same diameter, and then placed on the auger body. Step by step instructions:

• Cut out four disks from iron.
• Divide the disks into 2 parts, each of them bend in a spiral.
• Disk blanks should be welded in a spiral on the pipe. This should be done on both sides.
• To the edges of the pipe attach the bearings.
• The frame should be made of steel angles prepared in advance. They must be welded together.
• The structure is attached to the platform, on which the motor is mounted.

At the bottom you need to put skis, the base of which is made of wooden planks. The bars need to be equipped with plastic overlays. The snow blower is fully assembled and ready for the first test.

DIY screw manufacture

Auger for the snow thrower. this is the main movable part of the unit, the manufacture of which does not cause difficulties. It is best to use a conveyor belt with 10 mm thickness and a length of 1.5 m for fabricating the auger. You need to cut 4 rings out of rubber band with a diameter of 28 cm. The parts can be easily cut out with an electric jigsaw.

As the shaft is taken a metal tube with a diameter of 27 mm. To its ends are attached adapters to which the bearings are installed. In the central part of the pipe is made a cut of length 120 mm, in which the central plate will be installed, designed to throw the snow. Also, 4 plates are dressed and welded on the pipe. You can also use a metal strip for making an auger. But it is preferable to use rubber, as it does not scratch the paving tiles and is not damaged when in contact with a solid obstacle, such as a curb or fence.

The conveyors have a trick. they are angled to the pump, allowing the snow to be brought to the pump. With the rapid rotation of the propeller, the snow mass is blown outward at high speed and is carried by a head of air over a great distance.

• Buy, or use an existing motor from a power tiller. For example, Honda brands (requirements: 6.5 liters per second; auto transmission; gear ratio);
• Prepare a plastic pipe, preferably sewage pipe, with a diameter of 16 cm;
• Roofing iron will be needed;
• Plywood is useful (thickness.10 mm);
• Half-inch pipe;
• Steel angle;
• Take the pipe to be ѕ inch size;
• The steel plate must be 120270 mm;
• A drill guide for drilling holes;
• Rear wheel axle.
• Check sliding bearings against the size of the pipe. If the pipe turns out to be wider than the inner ring, it can be sharpened on a machine.

The total width of the homemade machine is approximately 65 cm (the width of the grab equals 50 cm), which is convenient for storage.

Four types of mechanism

• Auger with fan (mixed method). Snow is grabbed by an auger, fed into a pipe for output. A fan works there. It sucks the snow coming from the auger, and ejects it through a pipe.
